Menu Redesign: Dine-In & To-Go Print Collateral

Project Overview:
Jade’s original menus had grown complex over the years, packed with hundreds of items but lacking structure. We were brought in to simplify, modernize, and unify both the dine-in and to-go menu experiences—ensuring clarity for customers and efficiency for staff.
What We Did:

Dine-In Menu Consolidation
We performed a strategic audit of the existing in-house menu, removing redundancies, reorganizing dish categories, and simplifying descriptions without losing the heart of each offering. The result is a menu that flows logically—from appetizers to specialties—making it easier for customers to find and select their meal. -
To-Go Menu Redesign
To support Jade’s high-volume takeout business, we created a new closed gate fold brochure menu designed for both visual appeal and usability. The layout groups dishes into clear, digestible sections with pricing consistency and visible gluten-free indicators. This format allows customers to quickly scan, decide, and order without flipping back and forth. -
Integrated Brand Elements
Both menus incorporate the brand identity we developed for Jade—from typography and color palette to photography and dish hierarchy. This ensures a consistent experience whether customers are dining in, ordering online, or grabbing a menu to go. -
Production Ready
We designed the menus with high-volume offset printing in mind. The to-go menu was prepped for a 50,000-piece run, ensuring crisp visuals, durability, and color fidelity across every print.
Results:
The new menus have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both staff and regulars. Wait times have decreased thanks to a more intuitive ordering experience, and the cohesive design supports Jade’s growing reputation as one of Albuquerque’s best Chinese restaurants.
